What we look for

This is a key role in the business, responsible for driving brand awareness, identifying and engaging quality leads and generating inbound prospects. We’re looking for an experienced Growth Marketer who can help us to accelerate our growth in the UK and later in 2022, internationally. With the support of the leadership team, you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to define and execute the marketing activity as you best see fit. Having grown over 100% year on year over the past couple of years we have ambitious targets that will take us beyond the UK to the US. This is a pretty awesome opportunity for the right person and a great opportunity for a marketer to go to the next step and lead the marketing at a well established, fast growing B2B SaaS business.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED…

  • 4+ years in a digital/performance marketing role

  • You’re creative and have a proven track record of generating new ideas that drive results.

  • Data enthusiast, analytics, and surfacing insights

  • Commercially minded and results orientated to ensure all digital channels deliver against target and within budget.

  • Demonstrable experience of  scaling social channels, optimising towards conversions and CPA.

  • Hands-on experience of planning and executing performance marketing campaigns, preferably in-house.

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of paid social best practice, optimisation framework, account structure, bidding strategies, targeting types, and their application to campaigns.

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS subscription business would be helpful.

Key responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • You’ll define and deliver digital growth at The Square.

  • You’ll work with the CEO to define the marketing mix and execute and track performance of all activities.

  • You’ll have an excellent customer mindset, and understand how to impactfully communicate our value propositions across different channels. Later in 2022 you will also help lead the charge for international growth, both in Europe and the US - our success in new markets starts with digital.

  • You’ll have hands-on digital/performance marketing experience specifically for Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, PPC, Email.

  • You’ll be responsible for creating and executing demand generation campaigns across digital channels.

  • Creating content to fill the top of the funnel with opportunity pipeline, set up nurture campaigns (Hubspot), and provide quality leads to the sales team.

  • Generating and qualifying marketing leads.

  • Defining what a lead will be for the sales team and developing the conversion funnel.

  • Developing a lead generation marketing strategy to support sales with revenue.

  • Working with Hubspot to build our marketing automation capability.

  • Utilising digital marketing channels to create engaging campaigns.
