The Square is a young, innovative and award winning tech company. We're looking for an awesome, energetic and entrepreneurial Payroll Account Manager to join our ambitious, fast growing business.

The Square is utilising technology to help transform the way construction companies manage their workforce more efficiently and effectively. We do that through the growing features on The Square platform - hiring - payroll - compliance - training. We’re a mobile first business and user experience is everything. Since our launch in 2017 we’ve become one of the fastest growing networks of construction professionals and organisations in the UK.

What we look for

This is a new role in the business, responsible for one of our biggest opportunities - growing The Square Pay business. This is a pretty awesome opportunity for the right person. You’ll have the autonomy to own your own desk and client and be flexible on the how you bring in business. You’ll be proactive and have a good understanding of the construction industry and a good network of decision makers to engage.

Key responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Client Director.

  • Close deals from beginning to end. Lead the full sales cycle from sourcing, cold calls and emails, all the way to closing the deal.

  • Navigate complex mid market and blue chip construction organisations to move the ball forward to ultimate deal closure.

  • Sourced deals by yourself and our vast sales pipeline (you’ll be able to tap into our huge inbound pipeline with thousands of construction companies.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to help drive product sales strategy.

  • Gather feedback from clients to progress the development of the product.
